Exclusive Truffle Hunting Experiences

West Coast Truffle Dogs offers exclusive, limited-edition, private truffle-hunting experiences in partnership with our select portfolio of truffières across California. As one of the few professional truffle teams on the West Coast, we offer experiences that aren’t available to the general public.

“This was the best thing ever! Our group loved it… and we loved the dogs even more!” Raymond T.

California truffières have been working in secret for nearly a decade, unknown to the larger public. These growers are on the cutting edge of culinary experiences, cultivating a product sometimes referred to as “black gold” and retailing it for over $1k per pound. The Périgord truffle is as enticing and seductive as it is ephemeral. Very few people in the world have experienced fresh, California-grown Périgord truffles.

Because of our special relationship with truffle growers, we can offer your group or small gathering an intimate, curated experience on a select group of orchards across Northern and Central California. You will get to work side by side with our team, including our experienced dogs, and have access to these incredible locations that few people ever see.

We will design the experience specifically for you, including hunting with our dogs, digging fresh Périgord (T. melano) truffles from their secret hiding places, and a curated experience of wine tasting, farm-to-table meals, or even meet-and-greets with the growers themselves. Let us know what you’re looking for, and we will work to make your dream a reality.

There are an extremely limited number of opportunities available, so please be aware that we will not be able to accommodate every inquiry. Interest lists begin opening on April 1st, for the upcoming winter season, which typically runs from December to March. Please submit your inquiry to: info@westcoasttruffledogs.com. We will be delighted to learn more about your desires and how we can design a memorable experience for you.
